This company was recommended by a neighbor. We had an initial discussion with him, received a quote. Then we went on vacation thinking that our pool would be fine. The owner/nor any worker came the first week as he said he would. Then, we returned from vacation and the pool was a mess. He was there 2 days before we came back. You can see him on our pool camera dumping in a chemical (for the first time in nearly 2 weeks) and turning off the hose...but the pool was still very green two days later. He said he'd come over immediately, which he did (it was a Thurs). Said he'd be back on Monday. Monday, no call no show. Tuesday after waiting until around 3pm I text him. Mel at Peepaw's Pool has taken care of our pool for years - I think it's going on 7 now. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the chemicals and the equipment, and will always try to recommend a cost-effective solution to a problem. We have drainage issues that cause our pool to get more than normal levels of groundwater and debris after a strong Texas rain, and he's gone above and beyond just the normal maintenance to get our pool back to normal when that happens. Great service and great guy, highly recommend!

Mel responded to my call within an hour and fixed my pump pressure problem. I had called him a year ago with a different situation. Both times he happily instructed me how to remedy some problems in the future. I highly recommend this pool service company, honest, very helpful, and local!

PeePaw's Pool Service is Wonderful!!! Mel is such a nice man felt really comfortable with him he answered my questions and knew instantly what the problem was and fixed. Would highly recommend I have found my new pool guy!!! Give him a try you will be glad you did.

Horrible experience! I feel I have been taken advantage of for months and had to fire this company today. I had constant algae in the pool, baskets were never emptied, cleaner never emptied, salt was extremely low. Had another company come out today and in one treatment the pool already looks so much better. Best prices in town does not always equal good service. Beware! The other company is only $15 more per month. So worth it!
