Pella Windows and Doors Showroom of Evansville, IN

Had a Pella window fixed under warranty. From the phone call to the Evansville Pella store to the installation of the replacement, I could have not asked for a more pleasant experience. Pella stands behind their product and local customer service is excellent. We will be replacing patio door soon and will definitely replace it with a Pella.

I needed to identify and order some parts for 25 year old Pella windows. I was given the Evansville service office to call and spoke with JP there. He could not have been more helpful. He helped me identify the part, then explained to me a simple modification that had been done to it and how to install it. The service reminded me of dealing with the corner hardware store back in the day. It was not a big sale but that did not deter JP from giving great service. I'll deal with Pella again due to JP's efforts and advice.

My experience is that I felt they were more concerned with selling new windows than repairing their previously installed Pella windows. I spoke with a service rep who was to get back with a repair quote. The Rep was pushing to sell new windows versus repairing my existing windows. It's been over two weeks now. I wrote a follow-up reminder message via their web site asking when I would receive the estimate. Never heard back from them. Not very responsive.

This isn't a review of their product but of their service. I tried calling to get someone to give us a quote on 14 replacement windows for our home. On my first call someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up. Ok, it happens. I called back 5 minutes later and was told, "Oh, you're in Henderson? You'll need to call our sales guy that handles that area. Here's his number..." Um, alright? I called the number I was given and got a voicemail box with a generic recorded greeting, like you'd get with a voicemail that hasn't been set up yet. I would have expected a professional, "Hello, this is NAME with Pella Windows. I'm unable to take your call right now but your call is very important. Please leave your name and...". But, no. If that's the experience on the front end it makes

The home I purchased has all Pella windows . They are older yet very well built. When I found out about the Pella store in Evansville I was excited to get some needed parts. However, the sales guy Scotty Edmonson made the experience even more pleasant. he knew exactly what I had when I explained the windows . He showed me color samples told me how to measure the window. He made sure I had his card with contact info in case I needed help. He also gave me excellent tips to insure proper installation . I will no doubt be back do to the quality of service.
