We contracted PHP to improve the efficiency of our home -- energy audit, new insulation in the attic, bathroom vents. All required for the Efficiency Maine rebate. Matt and his team were a delight to work with. Matt is really responsive to email, which made the initial consult, scheduling, and paperwork for the rebate really easy. I've recommended PHP to friends and family and we'll try to get back on their schedule to do some work on our basement next year. Thanks Matt!

After purchasing a home built in the early 1800s I knew we would have to do something serious to improve its energy efficiency. We turned to Penobscot Home Performance for the energy audit, which revealed a big work list was needed, and then again for the actual upgrades. After two winters now, I can accurately tell you the difference in energy usage is enormous. The energy upgrades consistently reduced our fuel usage by more than half and also made the house much more comfortable. The PHP crew was in our house for almost two weeks completing the project and were professional and courteous each and every day. They were meticulous in their work and the follow up efforts have been outstanding as well. You simply don't find high quality companies like this very often.

Incomplete work, weak communication chain, under-staffed — this feels like a sales team with no service team. That said, after months of messages and emails, they did send an apprentice over to wrap it up, who was super-committed to trying to make it right.

What a fabulous company!!!!! After they left my contractor reviewed their work and he said it is some of the BEST and MOST PROFESSIONAL that he has ever seen.....and the four workers who were here were true gentlemen....always polite, great work ethic and did an incredible job of cleaning up at the end of each day......STOP YOUR SEARCH.....THIS IS THE BEST COMPANY IN MAINE!!
