PENTA OLYMPIC FENCING CLUB

Great fencing club with an excellent environment. Penta Fencing offers very flexible schedules, which makes it easy to attend classes consistently. The atmosphere is positive and supportive, with both students and parents highly engaged and great sportsmanship throughout the club. The coaches are kind, skilled, and very attentive. They truly understand each student’s individual needs and coach them accordingly, which has been wonderful for my child’s development. The location is also convenient for families in VA, MD, and the DC area. We’ve been very happy with our experience here and highly recommend Penta Fencing.

Penta Olympic Fencing Club is truly the world premiere epee fencing club. When we moved to the DC area we were concerned with what activity our child should pursue. Choosing fencing at Penta was the right choice. The coaches at Penta are absolutely world-class. Many of them competed at the international level. They focus on the fundamentals of fencing. Yet the club has a family friendly atmosphere. During tournaments, the coaches are amazing. They are passionate and definitely invested in our child’s success. Win or lose, it has been an awesome experience to see our child grow as a person, student, and athlete.

World-class coaching is the cornerstone of this epee club. That ingredient, coupled with a genuine concern for and understanding of the students, is the reason Penta is so well-regarded. Penta's head coach, Youngchan, is also the owner. He and all the coaches are invested in the well-being of all of the students in his club, and it shows. Youngchan runs his club in a way that produces excellent athletes and promotes the positive development of every student who walks in. This is a competitive club with a very positive atmosphere. The results speak volumes. This is THE place to learn epee fencing.

I’m a beginner to the fencing sport and want to learn from the best. I came to the right place, Mr Lee showed how to obtain skills that a novice like would have taken to long to learn as an adult learning this amazing sport. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

He is the best coach I have experienced, with good skills, kindness, and good teaching skills. The children love and enjoy it so much. I highly recommend it.
