What a super neat tree inside of a concrete silo along highway 36 in Kansas. When you arrive there will be a set of guardrail on either side of the highway which has ample amount of blacktop for you to park with your hazards on. The silo is a concrete silo and the tree is on the northwest of the inside. The tree has a fairly large diameter so it puts it at between 20 and 40-year old by my estimates.
A tree grew up in a silo. Talk about perseverance!!!!
So glad I took a detour to see this. This is why we take the back roads.
