A few recurring issues included excessive grass clippings left all over the yard, which ultimately led to dead, patchy, and unsightly areas. Instead of mowing twice when needed, the explanation I always received was that “it’s good for the grass,” even though the results clearly showed otherwise. I also have a double-door gate that must be properly secured after service. It took nearly an entire year of repeated requests before it was finally added to my service notes and consistently followed by the technicians. I used Peter Doran in fall 2024 to trim our hedges. The work itself was fine, but there was zero communication about when they would arrive. Because of that, we chose a different company for 2025—which did an amazing job and communicated clearly. Fast forward to fall 2025: a worker from Peter Doran showed up unexpectedly to trim our hedges. We received no communication whatsoever that they were coming. Our Ring camera shows the worker was on-site for less than one hour, yet we were billed for two hours of labor plus a haul‑away fee. To be fair, I agreed to pay for the one hour of labor and tax, and I marked the check as “Paid in Full.” Now I am being contacted again for the remaining haul‑away fee. Given that the worker was only here for under an hour, it’s unclear how there was enough d

I was doing a little bit of garage cleanup when Perry M & Brandon M came by. They took care of the rest of my yard. Firstly, when I greeted them, they were very polite and professional. I explained that I would stay out of their way and they assured that they would likewise be out of my way. (This was a mirthful exchange). They operated fast and cleanly and were very pleasant to interact with. Ive got a long history in the service industry, and its workers like that which develop long time customers. Ive been with this company for years, and they have never disappointed me. Exceptionally polite, and warm to talk to. They did quality work accomplishing more in less than an hour than would have taken me a weekend. And my yard looks really good. Thank you to them.
