PG5 - Market Station

Biggest garage on campus, although a good portion is reserved for admin and faculty. If all else fails, this garage will still have a spot, and is just north of the AHC buildings if you have class there.

This parking garage is a hazard—people drive way too fast and don’t stay on the right side! The number of near-misses and accidents I’ve seen here is unacceptable. All FIU does is put up a sign, as if that’s enough to fix the problem. If the university actually cares about safety, they’d enforce traffic rules or at least patrol the area. A visible presence—even just a parked patrol car—would force drivers to slow down and pay attention. Right now, it feels like a free-for-all, and i worry other student could get hurt or accidentally hurt others.

Hands down probably the only parking garage on the whole campus that actually has parking no matter what. Now.. that doesn't mean you're gonna wanna always park where it's available, but I will tell you, at least anecdotally, that the parking has always been available. It does suck though when it's rainy and you have no choice but to park on the top floor or it's super hot and the top floor is all there is, but if you're ever in a pinch and NEED to just park and go, ol reliable over here.

Not easy to find specified parking for study my daughter and I participated in, but after a couple of phone calls, we were able to find the exact place to park
