Pine Straw Plus, Llc

Same story as the other reviewers… “$7 a bale and we shouldn’t use more than a few bales just to top off your beds.” Tried to charge us $1100 for one small side of my yard. Like the other reviewers said, they drive around with a trailer full of pine straw rolls (3 bales per roll which they also don’t clarify), and I thought I would be nice and give them some work. Never again. They must drive around hoping to hit up everyone once because there is no way they get repeat business like this.

Stay away from these guys. They'll try to low-ball you by offering pine straw around flower beddings for $7 a bail (whatever this even is) and then come back with a check of $4,700. Then, depending on how you react, they'll quickly drop it to $300-$500, but start guilt-tripping you that they did so much work. It's on the border of fraud.

Don't deal with these folks. Clarence cold called on us and was a good salesman. He said for $5 a bale he would pull weeds and make the flower beds look good. Less than an hour later he presented a bill for over $700 . Not only were the bales super tiny but he clearly didn't pull any thing. I can't believe he would try to take advantage of my 82 year old mother .

After asking the price several times a was quoted a price. After completing the work, I recieved an invoice for 4x more than what I expected to pay based upon what was stated at time of service. I will NEVER recommend this company to any of my neighbors. Felt like I needed to take a shower after the way they fleeced me. The "owner" only stated that they would speak with the workers about better explaining the cost. They also don't tell you there is a fee separate for installation that is not included in the initial price.

Horrible pricing.. normally pay $500 with labor and when they completed the job they texted me an invoice for $2982. They claim to give you a 12 month warranty by coming back out to resupply if needed. Stay away from these people. They drive a white pickup truck with a trailer full of pinestraw.
