Absolute clown show. Worst experience I've ever had in almost 20 years in the Contruction industry. My client ordered 80k in custom cabinetry from them in a custom home I built. (He wanted to source the cabinets himeself because a friend had recommended pioneer as an excellent cabinet shop) The cabinets were months behind schedule, half of them built wrong and had to be rebuilt 2-3 times. Stu constantly lying about timeframes, excuses that didn't make sense. Then they ran out of the veneer they needed for the cabinets and instead of being honest about it he had his guys build cabinets with a different veneer and try to install them in the house and leave before anybody noticed (multimillion dollar brand new house). I should have written this a year ago. Stu Hemingway was the general contractor of the development where I live. We had the option of having our cabinets made by him, or at a local kitchen business. We decided to go with Stu at Pioneer Builders. This was in 2013. We paid around $20,000 for our cabinets, which were supposedly painted with a catalytic paint. Within months we started noticing cracks at the corners and along the places where there was decorative trim. Many calls to hi. Were ignored. He only looked at them because he was on the property at a building that was coming up behind my house, and I went out and told him to come and take a look.
