Platinum Pool Care

BEWARE!!! This company is a joke. You can't talk to them on the phone. Only text. Seems like they only do home warranty work. Zero communication. Service guy showed up in a Tesla with no tools and no parts. Didn't look at or evaluate any equipment until forced to do so. Takes the $85 service fee and tells warranty company nothing is covered. Pool was worse off after they finished. Absolute clowns. They are so infuriating to deal with, it was easier to spend a few hundred dollars and hire someone reputable. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE UNPROFESSIONAL IDIOTS!

We were directed to platinum Pool Care by our home warranty. They were excellent. They responded to our calls and messages promptly. The service technician Paul was courteous and responsive. They typically prefer to respond by text message which is fine by me but other people may have difficulty with that. They were very upfront about the costs and the problems. We needed a new pool pump. In some of the negative reviews I see, individuals were upset about the amount of coverage for the repairs from home warranty companies. I have worked with home warranty companies for a long time and know what to expect. For pool equipment, they oftentimes do not provide full replacement value so expenses are present but this is not the fault of platinum pool care. Overall I was extremely satisfied with

This company came out of April 2nd for our pool heater. They were picked by our home warranty company. The technician replaced a part on the spot and had our heater working within 30 minutes. The tech was on time and friendly and we are very happy with the service we received.

PPC was contracted by AHC (home warranty provider) to come evaluate my hot tub heater for repair. Unfortunately the part needed for repair was not covered. I’ve been reaching out to PPC for a cash quote or recommendation but they have not returned any calls or texts pretty sure the whole thing is a scam. Both AHC AND PLATINUM POOL CARE.

What a scam! This company committed fraud with the Home Warranty company and what these two companies conspired to do should be illegal. The tech that came out to inspect our pool/spa heater seemed decent and told us he just needed approval to replace the Thermal Regulator. However, 2 days later I received a notification from the Home Warranty company denying my claim because that Platinum Pool Care reported I had a missing "Chemical Check Valve" and Thermal Regulator which are "required by California state regulations"--see pictures for evidence. There is literally no such thing as a "Chemical Check Valve" and the Thermal Regulator is what was broken and needed to be replaced. I asked for the California state regulation that shows the "Chemical Check Valve" is required, however, neither c
