Plimpton & Hills Hartford

We were recommended by our contractor to go to Plimpton & Hills. Our appointment started on time, and we were shown a wide variety of options that matched our interests. We discussed pros and cons, and ended up leaving very satisfied. A great selection of options for all your kitchen and bath needs and a recommended must visit should you be planning to do some renovations. You won’t be disappointed.

Nichole was quite terrible. Took forever to get a sales reps attention in the first place, had to ask the front desk to page someone after front desk told me someone would come up to me. She didn't acknowledge me at all, to the point where I had to go up to her and ask "are you Nichole?". It just didn't seem like she wanted to be there, and that she didn't want to answer my questions at all and that I was inconveniencing her. She didn't know basic questions like price or measurements. The sales rep nearby helping a family was SO helpful, sharing detailed things like which shower spout would be best for their hair??? She also said the first item we asked about was not in stock, but when we went through other options, we finally came back to that one again and now it magically was in stock?

Don’t waste your time coming here. The whole place is a complete joke with no prices listed on anything. Online it clearly states that you are open at 7am on Saturday. We arrived at 8:30am and were told you don’t actually open until 9am. The receptionist said we could come in and look around but no one would be there to help us until 9am. An older woman with dark hair and a cane came in at 9am and completely ignored us. Instead she talked to the receptionist about the food she had brought with her. When she did acknowledge me, she snipped that I was going to have to give her a few minutes. It wasn’t the wait, it was the attitude. I started to walk out. The receptionist asked where I was going. In our search for a Shower Wall Unit and faucets we visited Plimpton Hills in Hartford, CT. The showroom is expansive. Has many products on display to view, touch, and compare. Upon entering their store there is a receptionist that will take your name for a representative to better serve you. We meandered about the showroom admiring the many displays. Ann, one of their representatives, soon found us. She asked what we were looking for, listened and asked questions about our project. She is very knowledgeable about the products they offer. While listening to our questions, concerns, and descriptions of our needs Ann was also patient and thorough. We never felt rushed or pressured into our purchase.
