Our 37 year old furnace needed to be replaced. The furnace company advised a chimney inspection would be needed, and a new flue breech be drilled. Our furnace company did partner with a chimney service, but we did some research to see what are options are. We went Polyack due to being local in Berks County, and having a great review. I am very glad we did! Polyack did an inspection and determined there were some issues. WE had flaking of the flue as well as needed some crown work. Polyack recommended a liner as well as taking care of the crown and cap work. The estimate Polyack gave for all the work was only slighty higher for JUST the liner from the "recommended company". I had a chimney fire on Sunday, called Polyak on Monday, and got a call back very quickly the same day. They were able to send two very nice servicemen, John and Chris, to clean and repair our chimney. Highly recommend.

I called because our plumber said we needed a new chimney cap because the pilot on our water heater kept going out. I spoke with a man from Polyak about the issue. He said someone would be out that same week. I called on a Tuesday (11/15/22). So it's now Thursday(11/17/22) and the guy calls me and gave me pricing for a cap and said the downdraft issue could mean you need the chimney re-lined. I agreed with him and told him whatever is best. He asked twice how my gas furnace was vented. I told him through a pvc that sticks out of the back of my home. HMMMM. RED FLAG!!
