Andrews did my pool in 2004, 20 years later I am doing my first pool renovation - new tile and plaster. Typical times to renovate are 10-15 years, so mine lasted a long time. Every crew comments how well my pool has held up, and how well it was built. There are no structural issues with my pool, the pipes, or the deck. I can't say how this company is today, but they were solid for me many years ago.

they installed an inground pool at our home in Tewksbury back in 2002. The pool was fine but the grading of the surrounding yard resulted in water flow into the pool from the surrounding yard any time it rained. When installing/designing the pool, they should have taken this into consideration and made recommendations (which they did not). The project manager was never around and only came by when it was time to collect the payment at different stages of the construction. I was left to figure out how to stop the water runoff from flowing into the pool after they left. They never considering drainage at all. When spending a considerable amount of money (over 50K) for the pool, they should have been more professional and considered the total landscape

Beware rebound concrete! If rebound concrete is used while constructing your pool, as they did with mine you will have costly problems. And Pools by Andrews will not stand behind there work. The use of rebound concrete will cause plaster delamination. It my not happen for years, but it will happen as it did with my pool. I contacted them and Lawn Kiley, their sales person came to look at it. His description of the problem was " this is an anomaly" and he would take the info to the owner. What i recieved was an estimate of repair for over $20,000.00 with no description or scope of work to be done. This estimate was $6,000.00 more than three other repair estimates i received from other companies. They put on a good show at sales presentation, but thats about it. Unprofessional, substandard

Apparently they used to build/contract in Florida. My parents had them build their pool there. The pool is being refurbished and we discover that they did not build to code, pouring the floor and walls at 3" instead of 6"-8", on sandy foundation. Great! So now we get the pleasure of fixing this colossus for who knows how much money. If anyone suggests a pool is a great thing to own, I BEG TO DIFFER.
