Porterfield's Appliance Repair

So very disappointed in this service. My mom needed a refrigerator repair and I found Porterfields online. He was prompt the first time he showed up. He told my mom and I that the problem was "human error." He suggested that we empty the fridge, turn it off, and wait 24 hours. He charged for the service call, which we expected. He also said that if the problem returned within 7 to 10 days, to call and he would return without charging my mom. Almost immediately after plugging the fridge back in, the fridge began to have the same issues. My mother left him three separate messages with absolutely no response. He spoke very highly about his experience and knowledge, so this lack of response was extremely frustrating and disappointing. My mother has since had another repair service and they imm

Very unhappy with my experience. Starting diagnosing problem then about halfway through started disrespecting my house and my pets saying my cats were flea infested and tracking parasites throughout my house. Extremely unprofessional. The litter box happened to be in the room where he was working. If he has a problem working in a house with cats, he should specify that. Also on top of all of this the "fix" was spraying some of our own Windex down a pipe and running a cycle and saying it should be good. Can't complain at the price of 109....if it actually fixed my problem. Will not be calling back for any more help and will in fact be telling people to stay away from this repairer. We had to have heating element replaced in our dryer he responded back same day message was left and showed up early for our appt. Quick repair gave advice on checking on dryer, will definitely use again.
