Porterhouse Heating & Cooling

In an effort to support Black owned businesses, I contracted Porterhouse Heating to remove my entire HVAC system, install new duct work, and install two new furnaces and a condenser. THIS IS NOT A BLACK OWNED BUSINESS I WOULD RECOMMEND SUPPORTING. Today one of the furnaces stopped working. A technician came out and diagnosed the issue. Because the furnace is still under warranty the technician called the owner of Porterhouse to verify the repair would be covered under warranty. The owner insisted I be charged $85 for coming out and another $85 to clean the furnace. When I protested (Porterhouse never came back after renovations were completed to clean the ducts) the owner became argumentative and aggressive. This company and their technician, Jamar were great! From the time I placed the call a tech was out here within 90 minutes. He was very clean and courteous and took care of the problem. I am very pleased.

The technician Jamar was professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem with our thermostat within 5 mins and had our furnace back working in no time.
