Wow. i came across Portillo Landscaping this summer when an injury made cutting the lawn problematic. They do great work but that is not why I am writing. I discoverd they also do masonry. Elvin was enormously helpful in co-designing two projrects. He steered me away from some of my less informed ideas and always kept an eye on cost. We were blessed with dry weather during October 2024 when the jobs were done. He and his staff showed up promptly everyday, worked through the day, cleaned up each day, and never impeded how I run my life. A walk through at the end identified and finished all remaining iissues. The workmanship was exquiste and his staff very likeable. My brother, the landscape architect, was wowed. Elvin Portillo has been our 'go to guy' for all things lawn care, landscaping, pruning and snow removal for almost ten years. He and his workers have always been thorough, efficient, skilled and knowledgeable. Elvin is always willing to come on short notice to plow us out after a snowstorm, and we can always count on him for regularly scheduled services. On top of all that, he's a really nice person. We recommend him without reservation.

Elvin and his crew are absolutely amazing. They are wonderful to work with and go above and beyond. Last year we had our front hill mulched. This area was full of weeds and quite large. When Elvin was finished, everything was perfectly edged and weeded and looked great. Our yard area takes in a lot of difficult areas. Lots of rocks, trees, fences and tons of leaves. Not an easy yard to mow or clean up. We have in the past did all our yard work, but we’re getting older and the yard has become a little harder to maintain. We called upon Elvin again to help us out. The leaves this past fall were unbelievable. But within 5 hours the Elvin has my yard looking immaculate. I can’t thank him enough and would highly recommend him to anyone. They do an impeccable job! The men work very hard . Our yard looks great when they are done. We have been using Portillo for our yard maintenance for over a year and we are extremely pleased!
