All 3 employees that we worked with arrived on time, were very knowledgeable, and explained and showed pictures of what needed to be done. They were able to get our job done in one day rather than two which we were originally told. They worked hard and did an excellent job! Cleaned up before they left. Rob from Potomac Chimney & Masonry services c as me out to clean/inspect our chimney. He was polite, and very respectful of property. He shared the video pictures of findings including a crack in our flue tile. He patiently explained the treatment options, and why he recommended the option he did. He gave us written information on the treatment recommended, including an estimate of the cost. We plan to follow his recommendations he made, particularly as they come with a lifetime warranty. We were very pleased with the service he provided.

I have owned my current home for about three years, and it is older with many of the issues you would expect from a house with some age. Potomac came out to give an inspection so I could see if our chimney was safe to use. The technician found many issues and signs of disrepair. He was able to give many solid quotes on the spot and explained all of the repair options at his disposal. I ultimately decided I would be installing a natural gas-powered generator, so I would not need to use the chimney. I hired Potomac to come out, remove years of damaged masonry from the top, and repair that so that a new permanent cap could be installed. The crew of two came ahead of schedule to ensure the work could be finished before a long rain spell that was nearly started. They completed the job quickly,
