Powell Renovation was hired to renovate our home this summer. Powell Renovations left our home UNLIVABLE. Was told by Alex Powell that he had another job that he had to start and was pulling his Crew off my job to do that job. Quality of work was very low. Finding more issues has we move back in. Uneven flooring system, LVP flooring was not laid properly open gaps at baseboards. So bad baseboards do not cover the gaps. Endless list of POOR WORK. Just a few pics of their work. I contacted Mr. Powell to provide extensive renovations to my home basement. We met and I explained what I wanted done and Mr. Powell came back with an estimate. We agreed on the work description after a few modifications. Mr. Powell started and completed the work in a very timely fashion and to my satisfaction. During the time he was doing the work he always was very professional and polite. Based on my recommendation Mr. Powell also provided extensive renovations to my son's home which I oversaw. Both my son and I were very satisfied with the finished product. We both agreed that we will contact Mr. Powell for any future work we may have.

Last year I had a pipe in my bathroom burst which is directly above my kitchen. This happened while I was at work so by the time I arrived home my kitchen cabinets & Countertops were soaking wet. The ceiling had been saturated with water all day and began to sag and the dry wall was falling down in areas. Once I had the pipe fixed in the bathroom my kitchen was in desperate need of repair. I reached out to Mr. Powell and to my surprise he was available to meet me the same day, within an hour. Mr. Powell give me a reasonable estimate for my kitchen repairs. The work was completed within a week and I was more than satisfied with the service. I can't even tell there was ever a flood in my kitchen once the work was completed. Unfortunately we have not had a positive experience with Mr. Powell. Similar to one of the other reviews posted here, he received a large deposit from me in October to complete various projects in my home. We had vetted his references and felt comfortable moving forward but post collection of 50% of the project costs, we immediately had issues with his communication and his adherence to our agreed upon project schedule. We dealt with it as he showed up here and there and he was very kind and courteous. Sadly at the end of November, he indicated that he was dealing with other issues and we have not heard from him since. He did not complete any of the work he was hired to do and has made no effort to contact us. His lack of professionalism and communication has been very disappointing. I don

My company signed a contract with Mr. Powell May 2015 to make and install some furniture for our office. We gave him a deposit and was told that the work would take about two weeks. After several weeks of not hearing from him on the progress and several attempts to reach Mr. Powell, he finally sent an email that he could not do the work because he was ill. The email from him on June 30th said he would refund our deposit as soon as possible. It is now almost the end of August and we still have not received the deposit we gave him. Mr. Powell will not answer my phone calls or reply to my emails.
