Stan came out on Thanksgiving weekend to help with our VERY much needed to be replaced smoke alarms. Our old ones kept going off constantly in the middle of the night, and his company was the only one that responded at 4am! He was professional, kind, and absolutely knew what he was doing. Definitely would recommend his services and the prices were very fair! He did a wonderful clean up too.

Do NOT hire this company. Unfortunately I am currently going through a mechanic lien with this terrible company. I hired them to put in a new service at my location. They failed two inspections, and even after an approval Dominion Energy still found many problems wrong and refused to connect power. While on my property the employees smoked weed and clearly incompetent with their trade, and left all of their trash from the job. After Dominion refused power, I didn't trust Powerful Electric to to fix the problems. I contacted another company, Mister Sparky, to fix everything. If you're looking for an electrical company, contact Mister Sparky. After the fact, Mister Sparky did confirm Powerful Electrical overcharged me for the job like crazy.

I don’t leave reviews very often but I felt very compelled to leave this one. Back story: my husband and I just bought our very first home. Built in the 70’s, a cute little split level house with SO much character! Our lights went out, we called dominion, they said to call an electrician. It was a Sunday so our options were limited, but we needed our AC and lights on and we were NOT disappointed with our choice! Danny came to our house at 10am and did not leave until 10:30pm. Of course we were a little bummed about needing our entire breaker box replaced, but Danny made this the worst situation the most bearable and we are so thankful for him and all the others at Powerful Electrical!! Dispatch sent out a technician for an emergency on a weekend evening to my daughters home due to a water heater outage. I agreed to pay the $295 fee and when they got there to run a diagnostic it was over $275 and then they discovered that the garbage disposal was bad and that the fuel light on the water heater had blown out according to the diagnostics. We told them that we would replace our own disposal and they re-lit the pilot light on the water heater for another $275 + dollars. I had initially given dispatch my credit card which they charged a total of over $800 for the Emergency to come out plus the diagnostic fee plus to relight the pilot light. there was no report saying what could’ve caused the pilot light to go out and what it the water heater could possibly need in order for it

I would first like to say that this company was the only one able to come out same day! From the moment I called to when they showed up, everyone was very professional. Eric was out tech and he was very nice, found the problem and was able to troubleshoot and repair/fix the issue. We will be using them again with any electrical repairs.
