Preferred Paving

Preferred Paving has done 2 jobs for us. The first was a continuation of the driveway we added when we put in the first phase of our landscaping. We were so impressed with the team that we called them back to job #2 to fix our asphalt that was done by another company which had many holes and road base was becoming more visible and crumbling everywhere. (I wish I had before photos) Preferred Paving was very quick to get me a quote and had the job done very soon after. They went above and beyond and I am sooo happy with the results. Give them a call you will be glad that you did.

We recently purchased an older home with a large driveway in desperate need of new asphalt. We called around and got a lot of bids and started the process with a number of groups. Preferred was the most responsive, easiest to work with, and their bid was competitive. Our driveway looks amazing. I couldn't stop staring at it for a full week. I would recommend these guys again and hope they will come back in a few years to sealcoat!

Preferred Paving hires incompetent drivers. I was cut off while going 70 mph on I-15 since the driver of a silver truck decided it was too difficult to slow down, since it’s not his job to yield to traffic. With drivers like that, I can only imagine how horrible their work must be, I’m sure they don’t even properly compact their road base. I would avoid this company at all costs.

I would have PREFERRED if these guys did not work until 9:45pm on a Friday night paving the extension in our neighborhood. Eagle Mountain City ordinance states no construction noise past 9:00pm M-F. Law is the law. Talk about loud construction noise along with my house shaking for hours on end. Secondly and more frustrating is that they left a big mess in front of our house from their work. Are you freaking going to come back and clean? The city is definitely getting a call Monday about these guys. These contractors think they can do whatever they want with no respect to the locals where they are working.

I needed our driveway crack sealed and seal coated. This is the first time I have dealt with Preferred Paving. My wife was a bit worried about all the rock we had up to the edge of our long driveway on both sides but much to my surprise the crew took the extra effort to pull them all back so they would not be hit with the seal coat. They used a motorized wire brush to clean off any loose material and did the crack seal twice before the seal coat which was done twice as well. The driveway looks almost like new, workmanship was excellent and no residual material was left to be picked up. My estimator was a gentleman by the name of Wes who was a pleasure to work with and I will highly recommend Preferred to my neighbors and friends as well as to the home association I belong to.
