In early July, I took a lamp to be repaired. The woman who received it in said that the lamp could be tightened, and a new plug replaced along with adjusting the area of the bulb. She told me it might take up to 6 weeks to complete as they would need to obtain a part. No one ever called to inform me of the progress. On August 26, after several calls I was told it was completed. I continued to explain that I wasn't rushing them, I just wanted an update as the lamp belonged to my mother, so there is sentimantal as well as a financial attachment. I went to pick up the lamp and was charged almost $30.00 for parts and labor; but the only thing the gentleman said he repaired was the light bulb area.
