Premier Stone of North Hyde Park Vermont. I have been a customer for 25 years. Their name says it all. And they live up to it. I am a happy customer. I live in an 1830 hillside farmstead in Stowe Hollow. The old charming brick house, stone walls, and old apple trees sit right next to Covered Bridge Road. So of course I am picky about the stone I bring onto my property for the many diy landscape projects I have done over the years. Premier Stone supplied it all. The friendly, knowledgeable staff are available to help. They have incredible sample installations of many of their products on display at their North Hyde Park location. I needed to have stone walls torn down and rebuilt and wanted a quote. I left a message and got a call back. I spoke with the owner who told he would definitely come look at the job and provide a quote. I could not him to schedule a date/time and he just kept saying he would stop down sometime during the next week or two. It never happened. I called numerous times and left messages. Never returned any of my calls. Very unprofessional, and as such, I would not recommend them.

Beautiful outdoor showroom of landscaping rock options . Staff seemed ready for organized contractors or DIY like me, that needed some concept development assistance ( friendly advice ). Delivery simple and overall good experience.

Warning! Swindler! Needed our driveway graded and stay mat placed. It was difficult pinpointing a date they’d come. Finally came the end of October, did a beautiful job on half the driveway. Then Robert said he could not finish the job because of weather. Stated he would be back in the spring to finish the rest of the driveway, grade and plant grass. In the spring, I called, left several messages, no response. Went in person to find out when he would be coming to finish the driveway. I was reassured by Robert he’d be up to finish the work. Well that was a lie. He never did! My terrible mistake: I trusted Robert and had already paid him in full. I’ve been swindled and I am furious. Owner Robert is NOT to be trusted!!!
