I can't say enough about how great the Preservation Products team and Acrymax products are. The salesman, Eric Gardner spent the better part of 6 months supporting our non-profit historic Academy & library to make the right decision to use their products. We have a tin metal shingle roof from the 1800's that we thought we would have to replace at a tremendous expense. Instead we were able to preserve it with the Acrymax elastomeric coating system. This allowed us to keep the historic look and history of the building. Inside the building you see the original shingles, and not modern sheathing that would have been with re-roof. I recently had the badly discolored metal roof of my house restored to a pristine finish through the application of an Acrymax 3-coat elastomeric roof coating system manufactured by Preservation Products. The team at Preservation Products worked with my local applicator to select the appropriate products from the primer to the topcoat that would provide the best results at an affordable cost to me. Fantastic products!!! I Applied the Acrymax full system on a clean and prepared surface; primer, fabric reinforcement, bass coat and top coat on a flat metal roof back in 2011. I applied 4 or 5 coats the first year and the next couple of years after that I applied some more coats for a total of about 9 coats. The more the better!! I could talk all day about how good this product is. If you take your time and and follow the instructions, you will not be disappointed. I am going to help a friend do his metal roof and while I'm at it I'm going to buy some more top coat for myself because I am due for a top recoat on mine. Eric Gardner helped me to arrange an Acrymax coating for the metal roof of my circa 1895 stone barn (converted to a residence) in Ulster County, NY. Eric could not have been more helpful. He connected me with local contractor Noah White Custom Homes, Inc., and Noah and his crew, in addition to coating the vintage metal roof with the excellent Acrymax coating, did some interior work for me repairing/replacing interior ceilings which had sustained water damage. The product is outstanding but the customer service is even better. I own a 250 year old house. The tin roof is probably pushing 100 and in need of more than a little care. The guys at Preservation Products expertly (and more important, patiently) walked me through the whole process of a full restoration. Just when I thought I had worn them out with all my questions, they actually called me to check in on the progress. The roof looks great and though I hope I never have to repeat the experience, it was a pleasure to work with the product and the expertise backing it up.
