Public Parking 2

Apparently, one day is not 24 hrs. It's $20 for each actual day. I parked Thursday at 3pm and picked up friday at 9 am. $40!!!! Feel ripped off.

I’m visiting from the UK, driving a friend’s car and visiting Santa Monica Pier. We happened to find this reasonable priced carpark within walking distance of the pier, parked the car and went off to do our thing… on our return, we paid at the machine and happily walked up to car to find a ticket on the wind screen!!! Boom our mood changed immediately. The reason given for the ticket, was I’d parked the car in back first! This in my eyes is ridiculous, the fine was $63! Robbing local government! I PLEAD WITH ANYONE (ESPECIALLY TOURISTS) PARKING HERE TO PARK YOUR CAR FORWARDS (FRONT OF CAR INTO THE SPACE) OR FACE BEING SURPRISED WITH A RIP OFF TICKET! COWBOYS! I’m VERY disappointed with Santa Monica government for this easy way to collect money for tourists who visit to keep your tourism

solid parking structure but tight turns (for an SUV). i appreciate santa monica having those parking structures everywhere though.

Good place to park and enjoy a walk in ocean avenue.

Very well located for Fairmont Hotel and others around. But at $20 per day it’s actually $40 a night because they charge by the day rather than 24 hour period. So the premium for using the Fairmont valet is $26 per day.
