I had a fire in my bathroom due to the bathroom vent. The insurance adjuster recommended this team for the repairs. I didn’t know of another company and I figured if the adjuster recommended them, things should go smoothly. I am so glad I made the choice to hire them. The process was seamless, and their attention to what I wanted or needed was refreshing. I was scared of having to go through a renovation but they eased any fears I had. I am so grateful for how they handled this project. I would absolutely use them again for any repairs or renovations I may need.

I’ve been working with PuroFirst of Chicagoland for many years, originally meeting them due to a water issue in my home. Since then, I’ve relied on them for various repairs, and they’ve always delivered excellent results. Most recently, they painted the exterior facade of my home and repaired and repainted my deck. On May 7, 2023 our home was struck by lightning. Between the fire, water and smoke, we lost almost everything (our family did make it out safely!). The very next day Larry Liebforth met us to walk through the house and tell us a little bit about what to expect. He told us to think about it and call him if we wanted them to help us. Then we started getting the calls. All kinds of other companies and private adjusters trying to get us to go with them. But Larry gave us time and space and we appreciated that so much that we went with Purofirst. We will never have words to describe how difficult the next 17months were. After a radiator "explosion" during the polar vortex my condo suffered some major damage to my hardwood floors and vinyl plank in my bathroom. I hired Purofirst to perform the repairs per the recommendation of my insurance adjuster at Liberty Mutual. I'm so happy I did. Dan and Larry were very patient and did a great job explaining the process. I was very worried that my furniture would be broken when moving it, but everything except my dresser (mind you this is CHEAP Ikea furniture I put together with my boyfriend) survived the moving.
