PWs Wash House

I live in Rockford, but when I need to use a laundromat, I’ve always come here. I’ve never had a single complaint about it. But I recently came in to wash some things. Neither change machine was working. I went to the bank and they were kind enough to give me quarters in exchange for $8 dollars. I went back to the laundromat, they were out of detergent. So I walked around the corner to the store and bought some Tide. There was no attendant in sight. As I said I’ve never been displeased with this laundromat…..but something isn’t right in here. Very frustrating.

All new machines and cleaned up with paint and new drop ceiling.... But Nobody is cleaning the place. It's so dirty and the drop ceiling is all starting to get moldy again. Needs some real good love, daily!

Best laundromat I ever been to..Thank goodness

2.5 stars. No one is on duty, the place could use a good cleaning, the machine could use the soap dispenser cleaned out thick and gross buildup. Some dryers take forever to dry about 6-8 mins for .25cents. I m sure lint traps need cleaned out. The good thing it is close to my home.

The machines are new this past year. A bit more pricey but in and out under 45 minutes usually. My only concern is upkeep. Other than cleaning lint from dryer traps and recycling the quarters sometimes I'm not sure someone is cleaning every day or so. And ,as I shake my head, in a town with how many drinking establishments close by? Persons tend to bring in their clothes and load the washer and ?? Forget to come back to finish. Come on people !! Open every day from 7am - 9 pm I believe. And yes the left behind laundry is being donated to people in need ! so the sign says.
