Shoddy work I hired pyramid insulation back in 2021 to do some work on my attic. They were hired to block off the kneewall floor and add insulation to the roof. The roof insulation has been great but I've been having issues with insulation leaking into the bedroom. After a few years I finally decided to get a blower test done and determine where the dust was coming from. It was leaking from the entire perimeter of the floor... The inspector pulled up some of the boards and discovered that rather than blocking the floor with rigid foam board, Pyramid insulation used insulation paper and didn't properly seal it. The paper was not fully sealed and air was leaking under the kneewall into my room. Inspector dropped insulation by the paper and the insulation got sucked up like a vacuum cleane

These guys did an excellent job insulating the attic space of a townhouse we were remodeling. We had a wide range of ceiling depths, and Gerald helped us figure out the best combination of batt and foam insulation to meet code without overspending. They also did the cleanest work of any sub on our whole remodel, and the inspector even commented what a good job they did with the foam installation.

Gerald and the crew were absolutely wonderful to work with, gave me a fair and honest opinion and estimate. They got to me quickly and completed the work quickly and painlessly with no mess or issues and the end result looks great and hopefully saves on energy cost.

I highly recommend Pyramid Insulation for your insulation needs around Baltimore! Our house is a 1950s Cape Cod that is a little more difficult to insulate than your typical house. But it was clear that the team has had a lot of experience doing this kind of work. Their quote was cheaper than another company I consulted, had a more thorough plan, and was able to squeeze us into our schedule due to our baby’s due date coming up! It was supposed to be a one day job, but they were going to require an extra day of work to complete it thoroughly. I’m so glad they were able to finish the job the next day, because today the outside temperature went down to the 40s and our house is still 70 degrees without the heat on yet! It made a total difference!
