Very unprofessional business. They charged me parts and labor to replace a part that wasn't broken. Their technicians left without having fixed the issue, even acknowledged that they didn't fix the issue. But they did give me another quote to replace yet another part that may or may not fix the issue at hand. When contacting the business to request an explanation of the failed service and request a refund, the only response (from the owner?) was a profanity laced tirade. AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET RIPPED OFF!!!
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Quantum Heating and Cooling LLC. I hired them for a one-time service and paid by credit card, explicitly requesting a receipt for reconciliation at the time of payment. Despite providing my phone number for texts, multiple email addresses, and following up repeatedly, I have still not received the receipt. The representative I initially spoke with was rude when I clarified my email address, and despite being told the receipt was sent multiple times, it never arrived. I have called, left messages, and sent texts continuously since July 2025 and have been completely ignored. I hope this review brings attention to this issue. In my experience, working with this company came with significant challenges. On the day they arrived to install a new heater, I was informed that my old unit had been installed improperly by the previous installer. They recommended that I replace not just the heater but also the inside AC unit. I wanted to be sure this was necessary, so I asked them to wait while I sought a second opinion from another contractor. The representative stated that bringing in another contractor would be a conflict of interest and said they would leave and retain my deposit of over $3,700 as "payment in full." Super disappointed with Quantum... On Sunday I filled out a form online that said at the top "Get a fast free quote". The same day I receive a text to set up an appointment for Friday to come out. At no time did anyone mention a fee. I wasn't home when the tech came (late) so my wife had to work with him. The tech told my wife that we needed a part that was $489 plus the cost of the service fee of $125. She then called me and the tech said if I pay the service fee and use them it will be discounted for the total bill. I told him that nobody said anything about any fees and that I just wanted a quote. He responded and said "I can't leave your property until I at least get paid the service fee". Had a disappointing interaction while inquiring about fireplace fan repair. When I asked basic questions about service costs, I was met with defensive responses and told they're 'only interested in customers who want to pay.' Their $195 diagnostic fee was only revealed after multiple requests, and came with condescending remarks about 'hiring professionals.' Instead of simply stating their rates upfront, they seemed more interested in lecturing potential customers. While they may be skilled technicians, their customer service and communication approach needs significant improvement. The passive-aggressive responses and reluctance to provide basic pricing information made me glad I hadn't scheduled service with them. Would not recommend based on this interaction alone.
