Queens West Parking - Garage

After a long day of work with groceries in hand, I realized at some point my parking ticket had slipped out of my pocket. To be honest, expecting to get chewed out, talking to the on-shift attendant was the last thing I wanted to do. But instead of anger or disrespect, the on-shift attendant Rizwan greeted me with kindness and understanding. I knew what time I entered the lot so I was able to work with him to get a replacement ticket in no time at all. Thank you Rizwan for giving me such a pleasant end to an otherwise long and frustrating day!

It is the only parking garage I will use as it is self parking. It is easy to access and use, and the price is decent. Neighborhood feels safe and the beautiful waterfront is a block away. I enjoy parking here and then take my e bike and explore the city. The only thing that sucks is getting here from Long Island. Sadly, traffic can be a deterrent.

The sign is misleading. We parked for a day (less than 24 hours) and paid $30. The driveway is very narrow and there are cars parked on it. Be careful when you are desperate looking for parking spot after 9pm.

Great garage for parking your car, YOURSELF. A rare traditional garage in NYC where you park yourself, have access to your car whenever you want and despite the developing area, high quality of the building, and convenience, they don't charge an arm and a leg for parking. It's my go to when in the Long Island City Queens area.

This place was awful. it was expensive at $14 for an hour. The attendant was rude and unhelpful. It's also unsafe as the stairwells can be used to exit but not to enter. So you have to walk up the ramps. There is an elevator if you can the attendant to show you where it's secretly located. Just a generally awful place. Just park on the street several blocks out and walk in to the harbor. Or better yet, just take public trans or bike. Won't make that mistake again.
