This is the third time we have used this company. This time it was for a hot water heater. Marvin came out, looked over the situation, and then went above and beyond to not just find but install a brand new water heater for us. Replaced some of the lines, the insulation, straightened up the whole space, and then cleaned everything when he was done. He was a joy to work with. Outstanding work.

Poor experience, ridiculous price, rude technician, non-existent customer service. Called on Thu 7/10/25 to inquire about a capacitor replacement on our A/C outdoor condensing unit. I then texted a picture of the capacitor to Tabitha. Mike arrived a few hours later and replaced the <$20 capacitor in a few minutes. He charged my wife $414. When questioned about the exorbitant cost, he rudely offered to remove the part. I texted Tabitha to ask if this $414 change made sense. She said Kyle from the office would call me. After not receiving a call, I called the office just before 5 PM and Kyle said he would look at the paperwork and call me back. I did not receive a call for the next three days, so I called again on Mon 7/14/25. I asked again if $414 for a simple $20 part that I sent

R A Styron has been servicing my AC and heating concerns for over 30 years. They always manage to get a technician out promptly to help us and fix the problem. They have also been servicing my commercial HVAC system for the past three years. I highly recommend them for quality work.

We have used R.A. Styron now twice for air conditioning needs. Once was for an entire replacement of our upstairs unit and the corresponding unit outside. Most recently our downstairs unit stopped producing cool air. They had a tech come out within 24 hours and fix the problem right on site. He also educated me on ways to make sure we protect the systems to ensure their longevity. This company is professional and extremely reasonable with pricing. We recently smelled gas while working in our back yard. We called the emergency number for the Virginia Natural Gas Company who sent someone to assess the issue. We were informed that there was a gas leak coming from our unit outside the house. They shut off our gas and told us we needed to call a heating and air conditioning company asap to repair the unit. We contacted R.A. Styron and they sent their technician, Marvin, to our house within an hour. I can not begin to tell you how impressed I was with Marvin. He quickly diagnosed the problem and our issue was solved. His professionalism and his knowledge was unlike that of anyone I have ever worked with in over 50 years of home ownership.
