I have a 25-year-old cedar shake roof that needed cleaning and repairs. Over the years, I’ve worked with several roofing companies—some of which are no longer in business. I chose this company because of their strong reputation for restoring cedar shake roofs, and they absolutely lived up to it. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and thorough. Anthony Schmitt, the owner, took the time to explain every step of the process—from repairs to treatment—and it was clear they don’t cut corners. After cleaning, they discovered more damaged shakes than expected, so the final cost was a bit higher than the initial estimate, but I appreciated their honesty and attention to detail. I didn't realize our shake roof could look so nice! Everyone at Rainier Roof is helpful and responsive. They cleaned and repaired our roof and made repairs to our chimney. Sometimes it's hard to find a company that will do "small" jobs, which ours was. A larger roofing company said Rainier was their recommendation for shake roof maintenance and I'm so glad they did!

They were very quick to respond and had significant experience with cedar shake roofs. Crew that came out to do initial cleaning and repairs were great and did an excellent job. Look forward to phase two when weather allows for staining in Spring. Would not hesitate to use them for future roofing needs.
