JR Painting and Construction was excellent to work with from start to finish. JR, the owner, was proactive, responsive, and communicated clearly every step of the way beginning with the initial call during the quoting process. Because we live out of state, his regular updates with photos were incredibly helpful and gave us great peace of mind. He also went above and beyond by helping us order materials and select colors without us even needing to be onsite. The quality of the work speaks for itself. JR transformed our 1990s condo at Purgatory Resort into a beautiful retreat our family will enjoy for many years to come. I highly recommend JR Painting and Construction.

JR and his man, Martin did a thorough and professional job painting the popcorn ceilings in my doublewide at a very reasonable price. JR was very understanding about my worries concerning my 2 cats during the process, so managed to get the whole project finished in one day! Beautiful job and a very likeable and considerate guy. JR was great to work with for a renovation project that had a little bit of everything (cabinet painting, refinishing woodwork and trim throughout, tile backsplash, some carpentry, installation of hardware and hinges on cabinets and interior doors, swapping out light fixtures and faucets, etc). His communication was excellent. He gave me progress updates frequently and was very easy to chat with throughout the process. He was flexible as things came up during the project and was willing to trouble shoot unexpected items to get the job done right. He also made great suggestions for getting a new/updated feel at an affordable cost which really helped the look of the finished renovation.

The qualities we desired in a professional painter include dependability, good communication skills, and the use of quality products. JR brought these and more to the job. He spent considerable time in consultation prior to providing us with a clear breakdown of costs, including materials and labor. We were sent a detailed and transparent estimate the same day. We were particularly pleased with the manner in which our home was prepped, as lights and speakers as well as downspouts were removed rather than masked. Another plus is JR’s color knowledge that he shared. JR’s professionalism was appreciated as he and his crew were punctual and efficient; our lives were minimally impacted by the project. He is easy to communicate with and responsive to questions and concerns throughout the day.
