Ray Baker Plumbing Heating & Cooling

Have had Ray Baker Plumbing out to our house twice now, and both times they were fast, friendly, decently priced, and honest. The plumber could have easily convinced me that more work was necessary (I know next to nothing about plumbing), but he assured me that the problem was minor and easily fixed. HIGHLY recommended.

I've used them exclusively for 23 years, but they recently replaced a water heater for me and the entire experience has been a bad one. They cut a hole in my ceiling and didn't tell me they wouldn't replace it until after the new heater was installed. Then, when the office staff called to schedule the code inspection I was given a date and waited all day with no code inspector arriving. I called the plumber the next day and was told they called me (no call or message recorded on my phone) 2 weeks ago to let me know the code inspectors don't do water heaters on Mondays or Tuesdays (my appt. was on a Monday) and it was really hard to get an appointment made for an inspection. I called the inspector's myself and they laughed when I told them the excuse I was given and said that was absolu

So I originally found this company on Angie's list about 7 years ago. They have been my go to guys ever since. Super professional, reasonably priced. Very nice people to work with. Never felt uncomfortable when anyone was in my home. I'd give them a try and see if my review holds up!

Installed HVAC 10 years ago, called Aug 19th to renew service/maintenance contract and no response in 3 weeks. Totally unhelpful in selecting a new thermostat, only wanted to bash and say folks have issues. I was trying to get them to recommend a thermostat that I would buy from them. Will never give them another dollar of business.

These guys are my go to for not only my traditional heating and ac units, but also for my very very very ancient midtown boiler. They are super fast to respond, reasonably priced, but most importantly every tech they ve sent has been polite and extremely knowledgeable about the equipment they are working on. I am so happy to have found Baker!
