Jim at Red Tail Home Inspection is possibly the best home inspector you could ask for as a first time home buyer. Extremely patient and thorough, he doesn't just tell you whether the house is currently fine but tells you what you should be looking out for 5, 10, 20 years down the line. I used him twice as I actually had to pull out from the first house I offered on after finding a blocked sewer line through a sewer scope Jim had organized. He is the perfect type of person you should trust when going through the most important purchase of your life.

Jim H. @ Red Tail Inspection did a very thorough and detailed inspection of my current home before I purchased it. He is extremely knowledgeable about code, construction, permits and all things relating to homes + building structures. He provided my husband and I with an inspection report that was 78 pages long!!! He was honest, effective and did not leave one stone unturned. He also recommended a chimney specialist for our chimney that had a tree growing out of it (prior to purchase). Due to his detailed report, we were able to address many issues with the former owner prior to the final purchase of our current home. Jim is amazing. Kind, smart, funny and so honest. I can't think Jim enough for making us feel confident that the home we purchased was worth buying!

Jim was fantastic! We used him for inspection of a home we were purchasing. The house was large and complicated, and Jim charged a reasonable price and took his time to carefully check each and every system in the house. He prepared a highly detailed report that not only pointed out issues but was also very educational for me as a future homeowner in terms of what systems are in the house. On top of all of that, Jim was friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions as he was going through the inspection. I would highly recommend him!
