I was the founder of Redding Metal Crafters. It was a very successful business. It grew very quickly to the point that I was trying to run the shop and also overseeing the installation of the restaurant equipment in the field. I then put the business up for sale and Bob Robinson purchased it from me. I continued working with Bob and his sons teaching them the business. If my sons had been older and were able to help me with the business I would have continued. It was a perfect match. Bob Sr. oversees the business. Bob Jr. handles the bidding and meeting with customers and is in charge of scheduling the shop. Greg works in the shop and handles installations. Redding Metal Crafters fabricated numerous custom elements for our business during our re-launch, including a complicated 180 foot custom lighting box, and they all turned out exactly how we wanted. They were professional, timely, and they jumped in to fill our need. A different local metal crafter told us our order wouldn't be ready on time because he had decided to take a vacation, but we called Redding Metal Crafters, and they jumped right in.
