Refined Landscape and Design LLC

This is my third winter for using Refined Landscape for snow removal. From our first encounter, I found them very responsive (other places I called for a quote didn't call me back or didn't show up). Their communication is also very respectful. But what kind of job do they do on the snow, you ask? It is so good! For this last crazy snow, they came out at least 3x -- final time at midnight when the snow had stopped to not only plow but shovel around the cars. (They might have come more, but I don't live facing the driveway so I might have missed those times.) The price, you ask? Probably quite a bit less than a hip replacement if I fell doing it myself. Everyone has a different opinion about what is "worth" it. For the big driveway we have, I find it reasonable and well worth it.

My experience with Refined Landscape and Design was very positive, from the beginning Santiago explained everything and gave us the price without any changes or surprises. They did our asphalt driveway with a concrete sidewalk and apron. Around our garage they did a two feet concrete walkway with a slope for rain. They got all of the permits and worked with the city to have things approved. They had to deal with very challenging weather but tried to stay within the schedule as best as possible.

Refined Landscape just finished replacing my old asphalt driveway with pavers. They were very patient with me while I spent quite some time researching and determining (from the extensive array they offered) exactly the type of paver I wanted. Eventually, we could start the project; the crew expertly proceeded and completed the job within a week. It turned out extremely well.

Santiago truly deserves a glowing review for the exceptional landscaping work he performed. When the city mandated the relocation of my magnolia trees due to traffic visibility concerns, I was anxious about their survival. However, Santiago expertly executed the move in the fall, and to my delight, I can already witness tiny buds on the branches, even during the winter months. Beyond addressing the immediate concern, Santiago’s team has also transformed my front lawn. With a bare plant bed in need of attention, he collaborated with me to design a garden featuring white hydrangeas, boxwoods, catmint, and alliums.
