I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with the professionalism and work ethic of Jim at Reliable Oil. Jim went above and beyond to insure I had what I needed in a timely fashion. My house was older and apparently the cellar was built around a 275 gallon tank. I got several estimates and was told I would need to put a smaller tank in the cellar. Jim removed stair treads and planed a cellar beam to install a 275 gallon tank. His work is meticulous and his price is more than fair. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest and good service provider.

I highly recommend Jim and his team. I’m writing in regards to an installation of a boiler my girlfriend and I had just after thanksgiving week. This was a complete nightmare scenario where our heat and hot water went on thanksgiving eve. After a little panicking, we decided to take a few quotes and Jim’s was by far the most reasonable. Also, he was the only person who did not charge for an estimate. He was willing to come out on a holiday weekend and take a look. They were there in the next couple of days ready to install. "Reliable" is the perfect name for the company. Jim installed a new furnace and oil tank at my family's vacation home in Gloucester last Fall. He was able to knowledgeably discuss my options and his price was the best of several quotes. He was prompt, efficient and he did an amazing job overcoming several challenges that he faced replacing the 35 year old boiler and oil tank that we had there. Jim is dependable, competent, professional and honest. From delivering my oil to repairing my boiler, Jim is reliable. Always a pleasure. Oil is delivered on schedule. I don't need to keep track of tank or make request. Refills are based on past usage. I never run out. My boiler has some issues. When I've needed a repair and no heat, response to my call immediate.
