Earlier today I had Joseph Balabous come to my home for an assessment and a quote. My sump pump failed and my basement flooded. I removed about 50 gallons of water from my basement, removed my carpet, and placed dehumidifiers and fans all around. I was convinced that I would have to remove drywall because of mold since the same thing happened to my neighbors and they needed their drywall replaced. (It was replaced by Resto Pros btw) Joe came out, took numerous readings, removed some of my baseboards and took thermal readings. He told me that because of our quick actions we took after the flood. He would not recommend replacing the drywall. He could have easily took our money and removed drywall since we were expecting that anyway. He simply told me what he would do if it was his own home.

Professional, courteous and took time to explain all aspects. Joe was pretty amazing, he was thorough and looked at all problem areas, he ended up finding no mold. He explained and took time with our tenant and then took the time to go over the steps he took with me. I was so impressed, I asked how much for the inspection and when he told me it was a free inspection, I actually was shocked, nothing is free in todays world. Due to busy lives and lack of time, when emergency flooding happened at my father’s, home, I started cold calling (a risky practice) out of desperation and to explore options. Luckily, I was put in touch with Sean who was very calm. He explained a variety of things and, to my surprise, he wasn’t pushy. I needed time to talk to family and do research and he gave me the space to do so. Restopros helped us with insurance. They were also very patient as we muddled through understating the claim and financials. After initial agreement for services, they promptly came out and made sure the environment was safe and healthy. The work that was done, was done well. We highly recommend for restoration.
