Restoration 1 of The Low Country

Never did I think I would ever need Restoration 1; however, the morning of October 29, 2025, God had other plans. While standing in my kitchen on the first floor, I heard water moving through the ceiling. Suddenly, water burst through the ceiling. My first call was to a plumber to turn the water off, who then referred me to Restoration 1. After talking to Amanda, who said she was sending someone immediately, a tech was here in less than 30 min. She held my hand every step of the way. I would only pray anyone in my situation would use this company. They were excellent, efficient, informative, and kind.

Amanda at Restoration 1 did a wonderful job coordinating our job and addressing our issue and questions. Extremely kind and knowledgable. DJ was our technician and checked in regularly to ensure all was in order. Great experience and they quickly remediated our issues.

Absolute worst experience ever. Told it would be a 3-4 day job and now we are going into week 4 with no communication as to when the job will be completed still. My daughter has been able to use her toilet and we have had to live with a hole in our ceiling. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I can’t say enough good things about Restoration 1. From the moment they showed up, they were incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Amanda, Mario, and Jamarcus took the time to patiently explain exactly what was going on, what caused the water damage, and what steps they would take to fix it. Everything was clearly laid out, and I really appreciated how easy they made it to understand the process. They worked quickly and efficiently, and everything was done on time just as promised. On top of all that, they provided thorough documentation for insurance, which made that part of the process so much less stressful for a first-time homeowner. Highly, highly recommend!

These people were so professional, kind and nice all at the same time. I felt so comfortable with both DJ and Mario when I was finally able to put each one with the right name🤣. Man these two young men are some hard workers and they need a raise or their own franchise. The young lady that came out was so comforting.
