Quality Workmanship, but Mixed Overall Experience I hired Rick's Custom Fencing and Decking to replace my decks in 2023 during a difficult time when both my parents were ill. My experience was a mix of positives and frustrations. The Good: Woody and Trevor deserve 5 stars for their exceptional workmanship. They were professional, reliable, and did exactly what they promised, when they promised. The quality of the finished decks is outstanding, and I'm thrilled with their work. Dan was personable and friendly during the quote process, which was appreciated after dealing with other companies that scheduled appointments but never showed up. Rick's replaced our old, rotted cedar deck with a beautiful composite board deck. The work done by the crew of Trevor, Rico and Nick was first rate. Jean & Andreas just installed some fences around our house and did incredible! They kept me fully informed about progress and asked me whenever there was a customization question (which side should the gate hinge go, or which direction should be the primary way it swung). I even asked if i could get the top of the gate rounded and they were happy to accommodate. We also had them fix two broken pre-existing side gates while we were here, and they did wonderful on those too. Overall it all looks wonderful and I couldn't be happier with the project!
