Ring's End

A tale of two groups. Enter the store and watch as no one even looks up from their chairs. If they do respond to questions they are sarcastic and unhelpful. A few others , Markens, Linda, Jill are very helpful and pleasant. We live 3-4 miles from the store and used it extensively due to good inventory and close proximity. No more! After spending hundreds of the thousands of $ at this store on a full home remodel, pool house build, and numerous subsequent remodels, most of the staff don’t even know who I am after I give my name. Recently, my contractor told me he finally decided to go to a more distant Rings End store to avoid the unhelpful and impolite staff at Lewisboro. I suspect most who have had similar experiences simply don’t bother to comment or rate the Lewisboro store. Again

I recently ordered a door knob I was trying to match in my home. I initially showed pictures to an employee who was to forward it on to Jill the person who handles the orders. I spoke with her and thought I was giving her the correct information but the knob that came in was not the one I wanted. Several gentleman attempted to help me as she was not there. When Jill did arrive she acted completely frustrated and angry with me yelling at me that she had ordered what I asked for. Indeed she probably had, but since I had previously show another employee the picture of what wanted... I was just trying to match what I had. I think yelling at a customer is completely unacceptable. I have purchased many things thru Ring's End for years, I will no longer darken their doors. Please be sure if you d

I NEVER leave reviews, but I have to vent - as a committed and experienced DIY’er, who has lived less than a mile from this location for 60y, I have learned that unless you are a contractor - avoid it like the plague! Today I have a sick family member and took a chance to stay in town, I should have kept driving- they had what I needed on the shelf marked with a price but couldn’t sell it to me and of course it turned into thing and I left!

Went to this store with my father to buy stuff today. I asked their staff if I can use their bathroom for emergency reason as I have an open wound (ostomy bag) on my stomach because of cancer. Unfortunately, all the staff I spoke to has been very rude and told me that I can’t use it as it is a staff only bathroom so I had to go drive all the way to a food store to find one. Apparently, they don’t care and policy is policy even if there is an emergency or medical reason! What a HORRIBLE customer experience!!!
