Roadrunner Moving & Storage

Roadrunner recently moved us from our four-bedroom Austin home, where we lived for almost 40 years, to the Houston area. Warren and his crew arrived on time and were friendly, courteous, and professional throughout the process. The weather was unexpectedly wet, but the crew was prepared and wrapped our belongings in a plastic wrap before loading onto the truck. We had to delay the original move date which Road Runner accommodated with no issue. The crew also offered helpful suggestions regarding the placement of furniture in our new home. We were pleased with the stress-free move Roadrunner provided. They made it easy for us, and we highly recommend them for your upcoming move.

This company were subcontracted for my family’s international move. 8 people showed up to pack so understandably I couldn’t watch all of them. Arrived at my final destination to discover over $1,000 worth of camera equipment had been stolen along with some of my wife’s jewelry. Due to having to store my stuff upon arrival til our new house was ready, I’m outside of the window to claim on insurance. Contacted Roadrunner and their attitude is very much ‘oh dear, nevermind’ Disgusting. Don’t use this company.

We have moved across the globe multiple times and we are lucky to have the right team here in Houston to download our container. Be to honest moving is so stressful that come with packing and unpacking. Somehow this team from Roadrunner makes it easy and less stressful. There is 8 of them and they work in a tight team and very responsive to each other. I need to shout out their names Ed Batties, Winder Perozo, Kenji Lee, Kameron Smith, Vincent Agana, Peter Adams, Josephy Battiste and Arturo Rodriguez!!! When they saw me carry things they immediate wanting to help me at all time. They are willing to answer and help us in all they can to make our moving easy. These are the guys you want for your move! We were so impressed with how fast, efficient, and professional Brook and his crew were during our move. There were quite a few items needing to be wrapped by them prior to loading the truck and they did a phenomenal job ensuring these items made it safely to our destination. Throughout our move, the team communicated extremely well with us. They were very detailed and thorough. We were notified of the location and placement of any loose items/hardware which was very helpful once we began to unload at our destination. DO NOT use Roadrunner for your residential move!! We hired them to pack, move and store the contents of our 6,000 sq ft Memorial-area home during a remodel August-September, 2020. We endured a horrendous experience that involved several different crews who were each openly critical of the one that came before them. They badly scratched several pieces of fine furniture, broke the legs off a sofa and an antique chest, crushed the skirts on all our upholstered pieces, left a 6-inch tear in the silk upholstery of another chair, crushed two lampshades, lost hardware necessary to reassemble our bed frame and two other case-good items, crushed a custom-made 36” Leontine Linens bolster pillow, and more.
