Roberts Carpet & Fine Floors

I stopped by Robert’s on Kirby last Saturday as I had done business with them before and was pleased with their service. Unfortunately, this time the lady that was on duty (I believe it was the manager) was less than friendly. Though the store was almost empty, with only one other customer who came in while I was there, she seemed annoyed with questions I asked and did not provide any help other than pointing me to various areas of the store, though I requested help several times. I left there confident that I will not go back and will look for another place to take my business.

Bill Kerr was the fine, true gentle, gentle-person who helped me.......he was utterly kind, monumentally helpful, utterly knowledgeable, thoroughly professional, and deeply, deeply thoughtful! He got me a lower price than I had hoped to find, he found me an exceptional contractor to do my work at a very decent price and the contractor was superb, he personally, dropped off and picked up the floor tile samples at home (I was sick with Covid-19), and he did this to save me the trouble of traveling to see them at Robert's Carpet......just an absolute diamond of a human being! He ought to be given the award for providing a customer, any ol' customer such as myself, the very best customer service ever, ever, ever, to anyone, in any industry, of all-time, honestly. No one else I have ever worke

I am a project manager for a national run mitigation and am building homes back from the multiple hurricanes that hit Lake Charles LA in the 2020 i had a client that picked a very specific floor that was next in impossible to get with all the logistical problems due to covid 19 and lumber shortages Melissa went so much above and beyond service me and my customers by showing my customers acceptable alternatives and ultimately making them more happy with there new selection. But she did not stop there Melissa took the ball and ran and made sure that everything was taken care of and expedited to meet my schedule... i highly recommended this very professional company and if you have the privilege to work with Melissa you will be in very good hands . We agreed to pricing and install date. 3 days later they delayed install a week. The next day they told me they gave my carpet to another customer so they had to delay install until after thanksgiving. I should have called a different company.

I made a delivery I was out in no time. Very good service.
