My next door neighbor is having their roof replaced, and the guys from Roberts are really phenomenal. I’ve been watching the project, and not only do they work quickly, but also safely. I can hear them all communicating happily with one another from my house. It seems obvious that the job supervisors treat their workers well. They have been doing a great job cleaning up their supplies despite the wind, and mine and my neighbor’s yard are both free of debris. I appreciate that even though roofing is a tough physical job, I don’t hear any shouting or swearing. I had to bury my cat in my yard while they were working, and they took a few moments to cease making noise so I could have my time to grieve peacefully. After noticing some leaks in our attic, we reached out to Roberts roofing to do the repairs. We went with them in large part because of the professionalism of their estimator. He used a drone to get high quality images of the roof and found issues where I expected and a few places I didn't! Amber in the office was very responsive to get everything scheduled and was patient with my questions. When the crew arrived to do the work, they were great too. The foreman was polite and very focused. One thing I really appreciated was after the job was done, their final invoice included pictures of the completed work so I could see what was done, especially in comparison to their "before" pictures. Robert's has set a new gold standard for what a contractor can be in my mind. We had purchased a 100 year old house with a slate roof. Though at first we thought we had a few years left, we quickly discovered multiple leaks. When we started calling roofers, several said that repair was effectively impossible for a slate roof of this age (quoting an astronomical sum for a replacement), and that because of the existing slate, even replacement with an asphalt shingle roof would be extraordinarily expensive. One company that only did slate roofs even looked at the job and refused to bid because the replacement was "too large." I called Robert's roofing today for the roofing felt for my son's Eagle Scout project. They gave/ donated at least 4 times the amount needed for his project they also included special nails too. They were all very pleasant. If this is how they are with a regular roofing customers you are in very good hands and I believe will be very pleasant and easy to work with.
