Peter Crassas (owner) and his crew at Rock Creek Excavation are absolute aces. We hired Rock Creek to do a full removal of our beast of a pool – thick poured concrete roughly 40’ x 20’ x 12 ‘. We could not be more pleased with the result. Total time on site, excluding a few weather delays, was one week. I was particularly impressed by two things. First, aside from being a very nice person, Peter is a logistical master who carefully coordinated the entire job for maximum efficiency. He ensured that equipment delivery, demolition process, concrete and rebar removal, fill dirt delivery, and dirt consolidation all unfolded like clockwork with adjustments on the fly as necessary. Peter was excellent in removing a basketball hoop from my backyard that was cemented into the grass for about 30+ years. He brought a small bulldozer that fit through the gate and my wooden fence to get to my backyard. He returned my call immediately and did the job the next day! Great guy, great work. Love having a local resource for small demolition projects like this.
