Rock Works - Rip Rap

We had a very positive experience with Rock Works on Phase 2 of our Shore Protection / Riprap project. Rock Works completed Phase 1 in April, 2019. Mark visited the project site on 9/22 and had a cost proposal to us within 4 days. Alex prepared a contract and started the permit work with Ameren immediately once the contract was signed on 10/4. Due to Rock Works working in our area of the lake we were fortunate that they could work us into their construction schedule. The work was successfully placed on 10/9 and 10/10. Marty, the owner of Rock Works was able to operate the equipment the second day and used a very generous amount of 12" to 36" stone to protect our concrete seawall. Rock Works personnel gave us options about reinforcing our seawall, then when we made our decision they took care of all permits regarding having rip rap installed, kept us informed all along the process, and delivered exactly what they promised on time. They were professional and courteous throughout. We have been very pleased with this company and would highly recommend them to help with a solution to a seawall problem.

I highly highly recommend rock works. We started with there competitor and was lied too and ignored by them to the point we demanded our money back and it took a year and nothing was ever done. We called Mark with Rock works and had a estimate in 3 days and they completed the job in 3 weeks and this included building a new concrete seawall and rip rap. There guys did a excellent job also laying the rip rap. I got my money worth for sure. Is a pleasure doing business with Rock Works unlike there competitor.

I contacted Rock Works on a Monday and the following Friday they had completed the work as outlined. GREAT service. Had an issue with electrical on the dock after their work, they quickly followed up and identified the problem, even though it was not caused by their work. Highly recommend them.

Those recent high winds caused havoc with our dock line anchor. Mark had Cody there within a couple hours to assess the situation. His awesome crew showed up the next morning with a barge and heavy equipment. They are amazing.
