Rockville Fencing Academy

Been fencing for a long time and have been taking classes here with Coach Stu and his wonder staff for many years. I definitely recommend taking classes here, the staff and other fencers are very welcoming and friendly. I have had all three of my son's take beginner and intermediate classes, and I find that the teaching methods they use mesh very well how I learn and improve. It's important to find a place where you feel comfortable and that teaches skills that can translate directly into competition edges. Rockville Fencing Academy is definitely that place for me and my family.

My Daughter has been fencing for just over a year at the RFA. She was seven when she started. She has continued to enjoy her experience and her classes to this day. The coaching staff is wonderful and very professional. Their coaching style is well suited for young children and very accommodating. Coach Stu, (head coach) has created a great environment for younger kids to thrive in this sport. We are very appreciative of the entire coaching staff and glad we found RFA for my daughter to experience this wonderful sport.

My son has been fencing here for a while. He really enjoys lessons and the coaching staff. Coach Stu makes sure that the kids have fun but also learn and are very safe. They learn not only the sport of fencing but discipline, focus and thinking on their feet. The kids also have a lot of fun at the parents nights out and the competitions. I am so glad that we found Rockville Fencing Academy.

My son is 8 and has fenced with the intermediate class at Rockville Fencing Academy for just over 3 months. He loves his classes and his coaches, and is learning a ton. Coach Stu and his team do an excellent job of making sure that the kids have fun, and are also focused on learning the discipline needed to fence well. We highly recommend RCA to anyone who is interested in learning to fence.

All the coaches are friendly. It's a great club if you want to be competitive. We have many national champions as well, so they are a great help. Classes are fun and useful and helped many go on to the next level. If the classes aren't enough (which I doubt), you can have even more with a private lesson. They are affordable and they have a great impact on me, as well as many of the other students. Rockville fencing academy is the best .
