Bought a house and Rod's was the name on the list of contractors for the generator so set up a yearly service. Got a young man who was polite but obviously inexperienced. Left the unit with an oil leak so not very happy. Fast forward two years. We experienced a failure with a part on the generator so called around for a replacement and it was like 16k (10k for installation?). Called Rod's and they sent out an experienced individual, very knowledgeable, fixed the part, made some valve adjustments, fixed the oil leak, did the yearly service and the generator runs great. Very happy with service. The price was reasonable at about 350 dollars. Person who answered the phone was polite and professional and the tech showed up in a day. We called because our generator wasn't working. They came out two days later. Very nice and helpful. He had the generator up and working in know time. Very happy with their work and professionalism.. I will be calling next year for annual service.

Unprofessional staff, no understanding of customer service protocols, rude woman on phone, verbally attacked when I called in good faith to come to a reasonable solution after a communication error on their part. Will never do business with them. Owner was calm on phone after woman yelled but it was like talking to a brick wall.

I contacted Rod's for quote in early September. They were out within a week for a site evaluation and quote the price they quoted me was spot on with the number that was in my head. They set an install date within a month. They were right on time. Polite and a pleasure to work with. They didn't try to push me into something more than I told them I wanted. Everything went off like clockwork. I wish I could say the same about the gas company! That's another review on another site. Thanks to fine folks at Rod's
