They set us up for yearly service contract for older furnace. Guy wouldn’t touch it, he was afraid to touch it because it was so old. Thought contract would be null and void since nothing was done nor could be done per service guy. A year later we found out they were charging our credit card for a service they have never done. We confronted them and received half of charge as credit on our charge card. Would not return calls after the confrontation. I would definitely not recommend this dishonest company to any one for services. I recently assumed POA for my mother who is in a nursing home. When I started sorting through her affairs I learned that Rohers was charging her $17.99 a month for a service plan. When I told them the house was sold and that she wouldn't be needing the plan they said they would get my message to the membership department. They took my number but would not provide a direct line to the "membership department" and would not transfer me. That should tell you all you need to know about this group. Please don't do business with them, and if you have older family members, make sure that they haven't been taken in by this bunch. Very dishonest and snake like business practices. I myself am a commercial HVAC tech and was out of town when an issue occurred at my rental. Decided to call these guys to come out and see what the problem is. My wife and the female tenant are the only people around when tech shows up. He clams the unit is old and a new one should be bought ($12k). The unit is only 12 years old and is in tip top shape. The tech diagnoses that there is no 24 volts to the gas valve, and it needs a new control board, and again tells my wife he’s not sure he would put the money in this old unit. He quotes $1,600 for the board but doesn’t have it on his van so it would need ordered. Avoid! Called for a simple issue with a DIY install and guy was rude, clearly disinterested in the job and quoted over $1000 for no more than 1 hour of work. Should rename his business Rohrer's $1200 Per One Hour Heating & AC

Had a consultation visit regarding a request to have mini-split AC installed. The Rohrer representative, Greg, felt that we would be unhappy with the result of such installation and suggested a lower cost alternative that had nothing to do with Rohrer. He saved us thousands of dollars rather than selling us a product and related service that would have been a disappointment. 5 stars for looking out for the client's best interests!!!
