I had an amazing experience with JR Walker Roofing. I initially noticed cracking in my roof that eventually led to leaks in my master bedroom, so I knew I needed to act quickly. I contacted JR Walker Roofing and Jesse came out to inspect the roof right away. The response time was fast, and I was able to get the repair scheduled for the following week without any hassle. Jesse was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was going on and how it would be fixed. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other roofing companies I contacted, and the quality of the work was excellent. Overall, the service exceeded my expectations. Jesse and his crew did a superb job on my roof and skylights. I did a LOT of research (anyone who knows me well knows what that means), and narrowed things down to three contractors. I researched EVERYTHING about these contractors, all the way down to reviews of the brand of shingle each contractor used. I then met with all three contractors, and after spending significant time with each of them, I decided to go with Jesse. I would have gone with him, even if all three estimates had been similar, but his estimate was significantly lower than the other two, which really sealed the deal. One of the many things I liked about Jesse, was the fact that he's the owner of the company, and he's at the job site all day, every day, until the job is completed. This was not true for the other two

Jesse was the first of 3 companies I asked for bids on replacing the entire roof on my century old home. It was a complicated job with both a flat roof, slate, and shingles. Jesse got on the roof for a thorough inspection prior to presenting me with a detailed estimate, complete with photos, of the job ahead. Two other companies said they didn't need to look at the roof. The estimate included a description of materials being used and a timeline which he met. Due to city space confinements, getting equipment close enough to the house to remove the existing roof and scaffolding up to replace it, Jesse had to use his ingenuity. It was absolutely the right call to support a small, local business and we could not be happier with the end result. Jesse was responsive, ON TIME, communicative, and never felt like he was trying to upsell or do some of the things bigger companies can do. We felt so comfortable with Jesse's scope of work and the end result is fantastic. He showed us photos along the way of damage to the roof, his team was efficient, and they did a fantastic job cleaning up.
